HSTLE is a technology platform that connects people who need everyday tasks done ("Posters") with verified individuals willing to do them ("Hustlers"). HSTLE is a neutral marketplace and venue. It is not a party to any task, not an employer, agent, or contractor of any user, and does not itself perform tasks. The agreement to perform a task is solely between the Poster and the Hustler.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract under Indian law to use HSTLE. Hustlers must complete identity verification before accepting tasks. The pilot operates in Mumbai, India.
You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current. Identity verification is performed on the platform or through a regulated verification partner; we store only a one-way fingerprint and the last digits of any ID, never the raw number (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for activity on your account. By creating an account you consent to receive service communications (such as one-time passcodes, task updates, and safety notices) by SMS, push notification, or email. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
You may only post or accept tasks that are lawful. You must not use HSTLE for anything illegal, dangerous, fraudulent, or that violates the rights of others, including: anything involving controlled substances, weapons, sexual services, harassment, impersonation, money laundering, circumventing identity verification, sharing another person's data without consent, or moving the transaction off-platform to avoid safety controls. Certain sensitive task categories (for example childcare or eldercare, home access while you are away, handling medication, or high-value documents) are restricted or unavailable during the pilot, and some tasks are limited to Hustlers with an established track record. We use automated and human moderation, and task content may be screened by automated systems before going live; we may remove content or accounts at our discretion.
Posting a task is free. When payments are enabled, the Poster pays the task amount and applicable fees once a Hustler claims the task (or earlier, at the Poster's option, to mark the task as secured). Funds are collected and held by a licensed third-party payment partner in a designated escrow/nodal account and released to the Hustler after the task is completed and approved (or auto-approved — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy for exact timings). HSTLE does not itself hold customer funds. HSTLE charges the fees shown in-app before you confirm — currently a fixed service fee per task, an optional urgent-task fee, and a percentage commission deducted from the Hustler's payout; the amounts shown in-app at the time of the task prevail and may change with notice. Taxes apply as required by law. During any cash-based pilot, payment is settled directly between users and HSTLE does not handle the money.
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
You are responsible for your own conduct and for evaluating any task, Poster, or Hustler before engaging. Verification, ratings, and moderation reduce risk but do not guarantee any user's identity, reliability, or the quality, legality, or safety of any task. Use common sense, meet in safe places, and do not share sensitive personal or financial information off-platform.
HSTLE is provided "as is" and "as available". Tasks are performed by independent users, not by HSTLE. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HSTLE disclaims all warranties and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, conduct, quality of work, or any loss, injury, or damage arising between users or from any task.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HSTLE and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the platform shall not exceed the service fees we received from you in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold HSTLE harmless from claims arising out of your use of the platform, your tasks, or your breach of these Terms or any law.
We may suspend or terminate access for any breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or risk to other users. You may stop using HSTLE at any time and request deletion of your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any applicable consumer-protection rights.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
